Over two years in the making, “Floating on Glass” leverages ten years of acapella experience. A departure from Voltz’s acoustic sound, the track consists of nothing but vocals: 86 layers of vocal drums, bass, pads, and melodies, weaving an emotional, symphonic soul track. It captures the odd feeling of calm after an argument, like drifting on a glassy sea after the wind dies.
